James – your holiday booking
Last minute holidays in August with an 11 year old and 15 year old.
Leaving on the Sunday gives you the best price. Stansted is the closest airport for you.
The best priced break is to Hotel Devamli in Icmeler Turkey – click here to see it. We really liked Icmeler, it’s a bit quieter than Marmaris but there are still lotsof restaurants and a lovely beach. It is busier than Turunc which is where we stayed. You can also get in to Marmaris which is much busier on these little mini buses that run up and down constantly and cost less than £1 per person! It’s a very small hotel but not many facilities either.
This hotel is a bit bigger and still in Turkey but it’s not a town I know, so don’t know what the surrounding area is like, the beach is 3 kilometres away, you can click here to see it.
This hotel is in Marmaris which is the main town with lots going on. It has the most facilities, you can click here to see it.
I think you should be able to click here to see all the options for a last minute break – I click on the left to get the price done for the total cost rather than per person and then click above that to sort the list with lowest price first and you should see all your options.
When you go to book click then to set up a “My Jet2” account to save even more – looks like it’s £240 at the moment.
Hotels near US Embassy in London
The best priced nice hotel is the Holiday Inn Express it’s a 30 minute walk away from the Embassy or the Park Plaza London Riverbank is around 23 minutes walk.

The Pestana Blue Alvor All Inclusive Beach & Golf Resort is a fantastic choice for families. It has a range of restaurants ans a number of swimming pools including a really fun splash park which kids will love. The beach is close by and there’s a mini train that runs down to the nearest, the Blue Flag Torralta Beach. The hotel has a great kids club which goes up to 16 years old. There’s a fun children’s playground and indoor soft play and tv area for kids this is an Algarve family holiday that everyone will love.
