As part of their 240 rooms they have families rooms and unusual for a city hotel they have an indoor heated pool. There’s an onsite Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and for everything you get this hotel comes in at a very good price. Certainly one of the great family hotels oxford has on offer.
Macdonald Bear Hotel

Situated just outside of the city in Woodstock, the Macdonald Bear Hotel is the perfect accommodation for families that love history. This 13th century former coaching inn is absolutely packed full of character. With 54 rooms they have surprisingly spacious family rooms which can easily fit a family of five. The food here is particularly good and it’s wonderful to dine in a hotel that has welcomed weary travellers for centuries. With a location on the edge of the Blenheim Palace estate this is somewhere to come and relax as well as being a base for exploring Oxford from.

This is a really well priced hotel with family rooms which are great for families of four – the rooms have living areas with sofa beds. As a real treat guests can use the next door health club’s indoor heated pool and fitness centre. With complimentary snacks through the day and canapes in the evening everyone will find something to love at Ethos Hotel.
