Fowey Hall Hotel, Cornwall review

Fowey Hall Hotel in Cornwall is set up on a hillside with spectacular views down to the sea. The hotel sets an elegant stance and has dominated the skyline here since it was built in 1899. The hotel is perfectly suited to families with nearly all of the rooms being either family suites or interconnecting.

The facilities here if you’re travelling with kids are impressive, from a kid’s club which is included in the stay through to a wonderful indoor heated swimming pool. The food is also great with various settings such as a kids tea, a family dining session and adult only times.

There is absolutely everything you could need for a family stay at Fowey Hall Hotel from child friendly food at breakfast to wellies at the door if the weather takes a turn. Fowey is a short stroll away for fish and chips overlooking the harbour and there’s some great beaches nearby including Polkerris, Readymoney Cove and Polridmouth Cove Beach.

Fowey Hall Hotel, Cornwall – Family Hotels Expert view

This is a perfect seaside hotel in Cornwall if you’re travelling with kids. Filled with families, but not feeling overwhelmed by them, there is a real sense of camaraderie here and it feels like a friendly, welcoming place. The kids club is brilliant to be able to give the children some fun time away to join in with crafts and other activities and we spent so much time in the pool that has the loveliest views down to Fowey and the sea. We loved being able to pick and choose dining options to suit our family and we thought the breakfast spread was great. All in all we loved our stay here.
