The Scandic Rovaniemi City is ideally situated right in the centre of the city. This is a really comfortable hotel with a cool Scandi design throughout. They have a whole selection of different rooms including romantic doubles with their own hot tubs through to fantastic family rooms with bunk beds for the kids. There’s a huge buffet breakfast with choice for all diets and an onsite restaurant too.

Santa Claus Hotel Rovaniemi

The Santa’s Hotel Santa Claus is set right in the centre of Rovaniemi, making it easy to get around from. All the shops and restaurants of the city are close by and it’s easy to get the bus or drive in to Santa Claus Village from here too. The Hotel Santa Claus Rovaniemi has guest rooms that can sleep three or you can book two with a note for them to interconnect. There’s a lovely terrace for the summer months and a great restaurant and cafe here. Santa Claus Hotel Rovaniemi is one of the best hotels in Rovaniemi.

The Nova Skyland Hotel is perfect for anyone visiting Rovaniemi who wants to be close to the main sites but also get that winter wonderland feel. It’s just a short 200 metre walk to the Santa Claus Village with all of the attractions on offer there. The bus also goes from the village to Rovaniemi centre and to Santa Park. Staying onsite at the Santa Claus Holiday Village is a really special experience. Right in the heart of the Santa Claus Village in the Arctic Circle you can stay here in a private cabin. The lovely cabins have private saunas and kitchenettes. They come with all the mod cons and are really warm with private bathrooms and tvs. They will even offer you a private transfer from Rovaniemi airport. There’s plenty of dining options nearby if you don’t feel like cooking in.

Out near the city’s ski slopes at Ounasvaara and next to the Kemijoki River, the Lapland Hotels Ounasvaara Chalets are a really lovely, comfortable stay. There’s a main building complete with restaurant, bar and fires to warm up by. Dotted around the grounds are the hotel’s chalets and apartments with private saunas and fully equipped kitchens. There’s an onsite restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Rovaniemi is just over a five minute drive away.

There are private rooms with private en suites through to dorms with shared bathrooms. The Sampokeskus Shopping Center is just 550 yards away and there’s wifi throughout. There a shared, well equipped kitchen, a Finnish sauna and a common lounge to enjoy.
