Hotel Relais dei Papi

The Hotel Relais dei Papi is incredibly conveniently located, it’s under a 10 minute walk to the Vatican museums. It is also just is two metro stops from the Spanish Steps and a 20 minute metro ride from the Colosseum. The hotel has apartments which are great for a family holiday Rome style as it means you can prepare some meals in. The apartments also have sofa beds which are great if you’re travelling with kids and you can also get a really good breakfast here too. Rooms can accommodate families with more than just four members, so it’s great for a family of five for example. This is often seen as being the best area to stay in Rome with family, it’s central, very safe feeling and easy to travel around from. Staff are friendly and welcoming and you’re sure to feel at home here.
Varese Hotel
Varese Hotel is an exceptional and well priced hotel for your family holidays to Rome. They have rooms in all different sizes including junior suites with two bedrooms for families. A fantastic breakfast is also included in the price. The hotel is situated just 350 yards from the Termini Train Station and also on great routes around the city – from the train station it’s just two stops to either the Colosseum or the Trevi Fountain. Elegant and with wonderful views across the city this five star hotel even has an outdoor pool (April to October) which is perfect for cooling off during Rome’s notoriously hot summer season. This is at the pricier end of the Rome family hotels but it’s a fabulous hotel if you’re looking for a little luxury. The hotel is right in the historical centre of the city and has a rooftop terrace from which you can see lots of beautiful sights (including the Pantheon dome) from. The Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona are just a five minute walk from the hotel and the area has plenty of restaurants and shops to enjoy. There are a whole variety of room types right up to split level apartments for families. Definitely in the running for best Rome family hotel and a great stay in the city.
Radisson Blu Hotel Rome

We are big fans of the Radisson Blu brand and the Rome version is no exception. This fantastic family hotel in Rome has family rooms as well as doubles and singles. They offer a free shuttle to the Spanish Steps and the hotel is based in the beautiful Parioli neighbourhood. As always Radisson Blus have one of the best breakfasts going. This is one of the great Rome family hotels.
