The Scandic Park Helsinki is a large hotel set opposite the lovely Töölö Bay with its playgrounds and waterfront park. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, small shop and large restaurant (packed with Finnish and international treats). It’s very easy to get in to the centre of Helsinki, just a couple of stops on the tram which goes from almost opposite the hotel. There are some great family rooms or you can book two rooms and send a note to ask them to be interconnecting which gives a great amount of space. There are standard and superior rooms, the latter of which comes with more products in the bathroom, bath robes to use and a kettle with teas and coffees. This is a really well priced family hotel in Helsinki where everyone will have the space to relax between sightseeing trips.

The Noli Katajanokka is the best of both worlds, a hotel setting but all the comforts of a self-catering apartment. Perfectly child friendly too. The Noli Katajanokka is set really close to the centre, just a five minute walk to the Allas Sea Pools. The apartments come with one or two bedrooms and all the facilities to cook your own food too. The building also has a gym, restaurant and lots of work space along with rooms to sit and play board or computer games in. One of the great family hotels in Helsinki that will really allow you to feel as though you’re living in the city not just on holiday.

Situated right next to the Helsinki Central Station it couldn’t be closer to the centre or the tram and train system to head out to the sights.
