The Albus Hotel is set in Amsterdam’s city centre. It has a number of different style of rooms including family rooms which are great if you’re travelling with kids. Parking isn’t easy and is expensive in the city but the location means it’s easy to hop on a tram to travel about the city. The hotel do have a discount for parking nearby which helps.
The rooms are comfortable and fairly large for a European city. Interconnecting rooms to give you two separate bedrooms are also available. There are some nice extras like coffee machines in the rooms and Dutch salty liquorice in reception. There’s a really nice breakfast to set you all up for the day.

The Albus Hotel, Amsterdam – Family Hotel Expert view
We loved our stay at The Albus. We felt it was in a great location and we wandered through the streets and canals from here. The room felt really comfortable, not the biggest but certainly not the smallest city centre hotel we’ve ever stayed in. There was a nice breakfast spread and the staff were so welcoming, handing out Drop (liquorice) to the kids every time we came back from a trip out. We thought this was a great hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
